Helmets

I'm both smart enough to insist upon and  fortunate enough to always have the best in safety equipment. Anyone trying to save money by going cheap on their safety equipment is just asking for trouble.

When I crashed at Blythe in 2007 I was able to come away with only leg, rib and shoulder injuries due to the fact that I had a excellent Bell helmet and was wearing a HANS device.

In addition my helmets always look GOOD! That's thanks to my old friend Danny Presnall of Pro Helmet Designs of Tulsa, Oklahoma. When I get a new helmet it goes straight to Danny who always sends it back looking GREAT. My 2002 helmet was painted by another old friend, Brian Bear who worked for Danny for several years.
