Bob's home

My home was purchased in 1999. The 3650 square foot home (1850 finished and 1800 framed basement) sits on a 1/2 acre lot in Murray, Utah. Currently there are 2 bedrooms, 1 office and 2 bathrooms. Eventually that may expand to 2 bedrooms, 1 office, 1 study and 3 bathrooms. The home was under construction by local homebuilder Marv Hendrickson when I first noticed it. Marv had stopped construction 6 months earlier until he had a buyer. At the time I lived in a town house 3 blocks away and had several friends in the area. I purchased the home "as is" from Marv and completed the sheetrock preparation, painting, carpeting, flooring, cabinets, plumbing and electrical. I did most the work myself which was a great learning experience (and saved major $$$). I moved into the home on September 3, 1999. I got married 2 months later. We didn't have time to get the yard, fence and garage finished until the next spring but I'm very proud of how it turned out.
