Bob's Background

I come from a very modest and middle class background. I spent most of my younger years growing up in Oklahoma but since my dad was overseas often I also lived in London, Frankfurt, Beirut and Tel Aviv, I don't remember much of the time overseas from when I was a kid.

I went to Walter Reed Elementary School, Sts. Peter & Paul Junior High. Tulsa East Central Senior High and Tulsa Area Vocational Technical School (now called Tulsa Tech). I earned a degree from Oklahoma State University in Electronic Engineering.

I played football, baseball and wrestled as a youngster. I've always loved race cars and being competitive. After retiring from racing in 1990, I returned after my ex-wife got tired of watching me go to races. play computer racing games and talk reminisce about when I raced. She encouraged me to get back into the sport which I did in 2002. The wife is history but the garage is full of midgets and sprint cars!

I moved to Salt Lake City on Christmas Day 1993.
